The Federal Government has grants available to help small and medium businesses fund the upgrade or replacement of energy-inefficient equipment.
Round two of the Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises is now open, with grants of between $10,000 and $25,000 available, covering up to 100% of eligible expenditure for businesses with less than 199 employees.
This grant program offers an excellent opportunity to upgrade your compressed air system with new equipment which could save your business thousands of dollars in energy and operating costs across its lifetime, so it’s definitely worth investigating.
What projects are eligible?
Projects must be aimed at reducing the energy consumption of your business. This could involve:
- the purchase of new equipment to replace or upgrade existing equipment (where the new equipment has a higher energy efficiency); or
- the purchase of new equipment or components to help an existing system run more efficiently in regard to energy.
